Amritsar Golden Temple Tour
Note
Golden Temple, or Harmandir Sahib, is the holiest shrine in Sikhism, located in Amritsar, Punjab. Renowned for its stunning architecture, the temple’s shimmering gold facade and serene reflection in the surrounding sacred pool create a breathtaking sight. Established in 1577 by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh Guru, it is a symbol of unity and inclusivity, welcoming people of all faiths. The temple complex includes the Akal Takht, the highest temporal seat of Sikh authority, and a community kitchen, or langar, which serves free meals to thousands daily, embodying the principles of selfless service and equality. Visitors can experience the spiritual ambiance during the daily prayers and participate in the communal meal. The Golden Temple’s rich history, spiritual significance, and architectural splendor make it a profound and inspiring destination for pilgrims and tourists alike.
